Formed in 2015 by the Mike Curb Music Business, Entertainment & Sports Institute (Curb Institute), HBCU Records is now proud to announce that its artists L. Paul Jackson Jr. and DJ D Glove have both have signed artist development deals with Curb Records.
According to HBCU Records President Pam Browne, "This is so amazing and exactly what we hoped for. HBCU Records was established to provide students at Bethune-Cookman University with music industry experience involving writing, recording, performing, making music videos and marketing. Our goal was to find great student-artists, develop them and hope that a major label would want to sign them to their roster. We're just so pleased for our artists that it happened this soon."
Now that Curb Records has signed the artists, the single release dates will be scheduled for 2017. Both Paul and DJ DGlove are counting their blessings and trying to grasp the magnitude of realizing their lifelong dreams of becoming recording artists. Stay tuned for the new release dates for the singles "Good Time" and "Champion" and follow the artists on Twitter and Facebook.
